Probably the last ever KINKS song . Recorded in 1996 and released on the "To The Bone" album . It was a long journey from 1964 and " You Really Got Me " - but a beautiful one ! PURE DYNAMITE !! Thankyou for the days !

  • if there's a more consistently excellent songwriter, I can't name him

  • oh Ray Davies - I love you!

  • Still one of my favorite Kinks songs ever! I hope it's not their last...

  • Love this song,, it was one of the different types of songs from the Kinks and of course the brilliant mind of Ray Davies,,, I always loved this song.. My favorite line in song.. True Love is really animal..... Ray im animal over you baby... You are still the one who i love... My beautiful English boy.......We met 40 yrs ago when i was a starry-eyed teenage girl and you walked up to me after the show and said, "Excuse me Luv, Do you know where the nearest Pub is? I fell in love w Ray onthat day

  • This song could fit in any of the 70's albums, Misfits, perhaps?

A really good song that deserves to be among their best.

  • Another great song about conflict as the wellsprings of creativity. GSTK!
