Controlling a bell via blinking, an Emotiv Epoc headset, an arduino from sparkfun.com, and a PC. I've only had the headset for two days but the best results I'm getting are from the facial expression commands. They're pretty reliable and can be very responsive as seen in Emotiv Epoc Bell2. This is kind of my Epoc "Hello world".

  • @00MrPanda00 just shut up, you're trying to sound smart too hard.

  • I believe it senses the movements of your cranial muscles contracting otherwise an individual might as well buy Kinect for the 360 if movement is involved.

  • does it work on the 360?

  • it only will work on games that will be designed for it, dont be seprised to see a massive mmo outbrake in the near futer after the next step comes, vission feed into the brain from the comp. your looking at the begining of "the world" better known as .hack, ever wonder why .hack hasnt really focused on an mmo yet?

  • wowowow! Wait, how do you do this? I mean ... programming the arduino to process the Epoc signal?

  • The idea for the arrows and to use mind control in humanoid robotics (Honda did copy my idea for Asimo) , or to move the cursor of the mouse in the computer were mine... now watch this... if you use the squared screen with augmented reality in your cell phone or eye glasses... then you will be able to do more... I have even more ideas to implement... but this is for later... you can watch my website with the most complete Humanoid Robot list in the World in the mean time...

  • Wow! Awesome video and a great demonstration of a BCI possibility. Would love to have you join our community of BCI researchers & developers... by creating a community of developers - we can really help drive innovation and work together to increase it's capabilities. The site name is bciforums (search it on google)

  • I wouldn't expect it to work with Quake 3, world of warcraft, or whatever other games the reviewer tried to play it with. Go write a game of your own that's based around the controller and then call it whatever you want. I don't know of any games that are made for this controller.

  • @TDelamay HAHA

  • @TDelamay

i just read a review saying its a $300 unfinished piece of crap that does not work for anything more complicated then pong, fps, rpg, rts were all imposible to play
