Open Gl is graphically broken. Textures for characters are broken with it. Neither direct x nor open gl plays the videos though sound for videos can be heard. In game graphics videos work. Normal memory saves work and game runs at 60 fps.

question... can you play viewtiful joe 1 with the same stats and full speed with that emulator? im running at dolphin 2.0 the newest and most complete and im with 30fps

(same stats than u but the processor is 2.2ghz and i use gamebooster too

Well that processor gonna make a big difference but I don't really know. Dolphin is all over the place right now. Since before 2.0 they have been working on compatibility so ALOT of games have slowed down. You might not get the speed you need for the game but try some other builds. I still use builds around 5000-5010 and they still give me fullspeed on this game.

@jedikevin20 Well i used the emulator ur using and got the head graphic error with opengl or directx is the same but get full speed

with newer version i get half speed but without graphic errors

My suggestion would be to try some other builds in the svns. I would think that head problem would be fixed for you in directx mode.

Windows 7 doesn't like Viewtiful Joe 2. Everyone's head is in their crotch.

Not a windows 7 thing. Thats a open Gl problem. Use directx and its fine. Same thing happened to me when I used openGL.

Just a fair warning if your using an emulator to play VJ!

DO NOT USE AR CODES!! I have tried them on all the games and the series and it screws them up after a while!

Had that happen to me on XP. Disabling optimize quanitzers under the general tab fixed the problem.
