Heres a video on how to make a paper fire-log for your fire, and its free, cause all you need is used newspapers from your local recycle centre. Its a great way to save our environment plus these logs can burn for up to 2hrs, happy log making !

  • I just finished making a brick maker out of plate steel. Crude and ugly but Im sure it will work. I will test it tonight.

  • hi shanekolidra, i think you were right to make a home made brick maker and made with steel is even better, the one i bought is not great as the sides keep moving out and the plate at the bottom keeps falling out it would be ok to make a few logs now and then but not lots, and your right they are very messy looking when making them,

    cheers.

  • @rockypro1 I did try it but I guess the best is to let the paper pulp really get like applesauce....and wear latex gloves!....the black is still on my hands four days later. I will do more in the summer to let the sun bake them dry.

  • uhh....lighting?

  • Economical and environmentally friendly, great idea

Where do you purchase the log maker ?
