Galina Vishnevskaya sings Tatiana's Letter Scene by Tchaikovsky PART 1

Here is finally Tatiana's love letter ( PART 1)with the great Galina Vishnevskaya! Galina Vishnevskaya sang this role for many years and it was one of her best roles. She made that role with the great director Boris Pokrovkiy, who considered her as best Tatiana. She was a brilliant Tatiana, and it is difficult to find anyone better in this role than Vishnevskaya. Here we hear from the recording made in 1955 with other wonderful artists like Eugene Belov (Onegin), Sergey Lemeshev (Lenskii), Larisa Avdeeva (Olga) and conductor Boris Khaikin.
