  • They never say, but I think it was Chicago or Pittsburgh... Something like that.

  • i dont think this was season 2 or 3 and i dont think all of the 7 series are out and even if they are fox owns them and thats that

  • yeah, but there are things called reruns. I think... :)

  • Yes--this was a great piece--Frank giving it to his superior!

    ----------------

However, I recall this from SEASON 2--only because I rented both Season 1 and 2 from the Library--and this definitely was in one of them...

  • Nope, it's really season 4 - 3rd episode.

  • furillo you're the best!....

  • The high crime section of Pittsburgh at the time was called the Hill District

  • @ciriel It was supposed to be a combo of every tough city in USA. The intro was shot in Buffalo, NY. There are references in the show to Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, Philly, and Pittsburgh, and NYC Police Departments. The cars resemble Chicago PD and the uniforms have Detroit and NYPD in them

  • @airdriver Thanks! He was the predecessor to NYPD Blue's Det. Sipowitz (Sp?).

  • @scorpietta

Belker had arrested someone who went crazy in the squad room. During the struggle, Chief Mahoney jumped on Belker who fought back without realizing he was hitting a superior officer. Mahoney pulled Belker off the street and confined him to the squad room. In this episode, Belker was running an errand and arrested someone.

  • @aloysius3520 WRONG. It looks more like Chicago.
