"The-bloody-mayhem-on-our-high
ways" PR campaign is outdated and erroneous. Speeding does not kill . . . it's the VARIANCE of different speeds that causes problems. But laws have become monetized and the Gwinnett Government is a shining example of how much lifeforce it can suck out of its' citizens and visitors without much worry. Taxation without representation. Why a person would want to work, live, or even breath the air in Gwinnette is beyond logic. Gwinnett should be renamed Swinennett! -

18 people killed on this highway in Gwinnett last year, most from speeding and DUI. Thats why GCPD is out in force.
Sometimes they bring the air unit out, which is also equpted with speed detection equipment to catch the speeding motorcycles. Rather than engage in a high speed pursuit they just follow them in a helo and when they get off the bike an officer pulls up and writes a ticket.

The video is not meant to be anti-gwinnett county police, it is simply a showing of a speed enforcement operation.
