M This, like so many other attempts at solving the Ripper cases is flawed in that not all the evidence has been looked at. I hope someone will do a full and complete documentary, looking at each single piece of evidence, within one single documentary some day. Bits n' pieces is not the whole. -

So the police let the Ripper go his way. That's why they patrolled a 100 extra man, many of them in disguise and offered fat rewards for the golden tip.
Not trying hard enough? Countless interogations of suspects (enough non-Jews among them) and many reports of eye witnesses. Back then they didn't had face simulators, DNA research or fingerprints. It's so easy for us now to say they didn't do anything!

I think the Ripper was a Whitechapel Ted Bundy. Charming to women, able to blend in with the community and impulsive. I'd bet anything that he was able to walk right past an inspector on the streets five minutes after a murder and not seem the least bit suspect. The double-event murder and the savage mutilation of Mary Kelly shows that the Ripper was driven by his homicidal impulses, not some conspiracy by the Masons, or the Royal Family or anyone else. No conspiracy. Just one very sick man.
