Hey we are all fine here in the Turks and Caicos Islands lots of repairs and rebuilding to do and thanks to god there is no reports whats so ever of any lost of life everyone has made it...

Finger's crossed you guys are all fine after Ike, we've been so anxious here in the UK. Thank you so much for your updates so far, they are invaluable, as we have many, many friends out there, and the news here is not reporting it in any detail. x

I wish you guys the best and hope no one gets hurt or sustain too much damage. Ike is a cat 4 and very close to your islands.
I been through a cat 4 before, and it can be very scary at times, just be strong, be brave and you will get through this. And be prepared for the aftermath.

Hi Eric, I have spent alot of time in TCI and really love it. I haven`t heard anything about the Salt Cay folks and how they are faring. Have some buddies there and haven`t heard a thing and am concerned. I was there in 2005 when we had a cat 4 coming right at us so I know the drill, but it turned and missed. Scary stuff. If you have time, let me know if you have heard anything about the Salt Cay folks, not many places to shelter there, So a hit by Ike would be bad. Thanks, stay safe, Mary

Hi there - we have not heard anything about Salt Cay but if we do we will pass it along. Right now everyone is just enjoying the calm...

Thanks Mike -- I will keep reporting as long as we can. Local news now reporting Ike may hit as a Cat 4...
