Moustachios

In this animated comedy, two Victorian gentlemen engage in a surreal duel - using their oversized moustaches as weapons! Along with their beards, sideburns and eyebrows, they fight on top of a colossal mountain to decide the ultimate Moustachio.


A short animation I made while still at University. Inspired by The World Beard and Mustache Championships, fighting deer and, of course, hilariously overblown Hollywood fight scenes. Cook it together, give it a stir and you get a moustachioed man brawl. Hmm, you say tomato, tomatoe, mustachioed, moustachioed ... I never did figure out how to spell it!

Thanks a lot. I think once you get used to the idea that when you animate something you'll get sore eyes, and an aching back that makes you crouch like a hunchback, it's not so bad!

Well, only because the project brief was to create something a minute long - and I couldn't bring myself to kill either of the ol' moustachioed bastards off!
