Corporate hegemony is the framework within which Bushco has co-opted our Democracy. I see a fine tension developing, even on the level of each citizen of this great nation: do you continue to chase the carrot (ANYONE can get rich in America!) or do you recognize that an obsessive preoccupation with getting wealthy legitimizes and sustains those who would destroy us? Last year, corporate CEOs made more than 400 times what their least paid employees made--see anything wrong with this picture?
