  • Everyone here should read "If God Why Evil?" by Norman Gysler. The whole book is a response to pretty much what was just asked in this video. READ IT! :)

  • @SuperJuliusC We know that the Bible tells us it's eternal seperation from God, and it's a lake of fire.

  • @MissLeanaFaith I agree that the purgatory is based on roman-catholic dogmatic!

But in terms of "Hell" all bible translations are debatable - For example: The guy who originally translated the bible for common men (Martin Luther) translated the term "Hades" about five times with "Hell"!

Well as you might know has the "Hades" nothing to do with today`s christian association of "Hell" - That`s a problem!

So we really do not know what the bible tells us about "Hell"!

  • @SuperJuliusC I am an American Christian, and I do have knowledge of Christianity. And the stuff you wrote about purgatory and all that, is not in the Bible. Purgatory isn't what washes our sins away, it's the blood of Jesus that does that.

  • If God created his creation it be programmed to do as they are told and have no free will -this is not love. For God to love he must give us free will. Adam and Eve were given a choice and chose to ignore God. Each of us has a free will - to accept Christ (God) or reject him. So when people choose to not have God in this life, they exist without him after death (hell). God does not force himself on anyone. That would not be love. People send themselves to hell.

  • @SuperJuliusC Then we're all going to Hell, because everyone has committed lust.

  • @armelix73 Well he is!

He created potentially jealous angels (Lucifer and Co.) - Jealousy is one of the seven deadly sins which sends people directly to hell!

So if god created jealousy he also created "pure evil" when he created the "perfect" angels!

So if angels are potentially evil - Why are they god`s "generals" and over all considered to be superior to mankind?!

  • @MissLeanaFaith American christians have absolutely no knowledge about christianity!

All they know is that "Jesus was a good guy"...

  • @MissLeanaFaith False, false and false... - Sorry!

There are three "instances" - Heaven, purgatory and hell!

Everyone goes to purgatory because it washes away your sins so you are allowed to enter heaven.

To hell you only go if you have committed one of the seven "deadly sins"!
