I Love John Winchester! Or at least the epic legend of him! hes hardly in the series but they build him up to be this amazing flawed, tortured character. And its helps that hes gorgeous :)

People always say that he was a horrible father. I disagree. He may have not been the best, but he certainly tried is friggin best. And dammit he loved those boys! He DIED for Dean and would have died for Sam in a heartbeat. John Winchester was amazing.

i love JDM!!! everybody gets on his case all the time about being the kind of parent he was but he was doing the best he could! He tried oh so hard, oh john...WHY DOES HE DIE? he died in GA, flashback of deadness in Weeds, at least he didnt die in PS i love you! which i saw only bc JDM was in it, normally i h8 chickflicks
