News Media Actions? How could an important News story such as this be ignored for so long by the South Georgia News Media Outlets--that ocurred on Aug 28, 2011, in Quitman, Georgia? Home of the Quitman 10, that were arrested on December 21, 2010. This incident with Mr. Bryant is no different and so I decided to wait before I reported or published this information. I want to see just long it will take for our local news media to inform the general public. It is a total disgrace for the general public NOT to be informed of this most urgent incident. It has been proven over, and over again; that there is a pattern and practice of keeping the citizens in South Georgia deaf; dumb, and blind to what goes on here in South Georgia. This incident took place on August 28th, 1011, at 3:00PM. This incident has been verified by State Representative Sanford Bishop's Office and is true. I first thought our news media would jump on this story. We can only ask if this had happened to the Honorable Jack Kingston's Aid or Governor Deal worker? We see that a fire arm was said to be involved. So where are the television, news paper and radio coverage? Even more importantly; where was CNN, FOX, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, WALB, 60 Minutes, 47 hours, 26 seconds, AP, and other local, state, and national news media outlets across the nation. It is for this very reasons; I do not believe the Quitman 10 can receive a just and fair trial concerning their alleged absentee ballot case in the Southern Judicial circuit of Georgia. Moreover, several Georgia State Senators, State Representatives and others in the Georgia State Capitol knows about what happened; but local citizens remains deaf; dumb; and blind to this news worthy story. In addition, I was going to local news Media Outlets and ask why they had failed to inform the general public as many other news worthy stories have been ignored. I want to see the news media do their job. I will give several more days; after which I will publish what I have received from reliable sources. It should be noted that controlling and suppressing information could cost the tax payers millions of dollars if it does not stop! The general public have a right to know; and this includes the 30 jail deaths in the Valdosta-Lowndes County Georgia. However, local community leaders have been told that citizens does not have a right to know just how many jail deaths has ocurred in our local jail for whatever reasons. Most people of average intelligence are fully aware of what is going on here in South Georgia. We are home of Mody Air Force Base, Wild Adventures, Georgia Military College, Wiregrass Technical Colledge and Valdosta State University and deserves more than a small town news media outlet.
