Nice job Durham. Nothing I love to see more than aggressive truck work done right and B shift brothers do it best! Just out of curiosity, why the roof ladder? It looked like that was a method you used to carry up extra tools possibly?

@dayton925 we carry the roof ladder up as a place to retreat to IF we don't have to work off of it (ie. a walkable roof pitch). We try to place the roof ladder right where our means of egress back to the ground is. This way if the smoke becomes thick or the wind changes direction on us it is our place of refuge. We also attached the hooks to the ladder because if we need a longer hook (we carry a 6') we have a 10' on the ladder and don't have to return to the truck to get one. Stay safe!
