Actually, judging by the lower ceiling, I think this was actually in a warehouse (the railway arch being a later gig) but still in the same area of Manchester. The Roses played two of four warehouse parties organised by Steve Adge and his brother Mark under the 'Blackmail Records' name. A Certain Ratio played one of the other parties and, I think Kalima another. I worked the door along with Chris Griffiths (who later became of of the Roses' road crew) as well as 'Kaiser.'

@katdavoo12 Yes, it's definitely Reni on drums. The bass-player was a lad called Pete (Gardner?) and the rhythm guitarist Any Couzens. I worked at this warehouse party as 'door security.' It was organised by Steve 'Adge' in a railway arch off Fairfield Street, Manchester (not far from the Star & Garter pub and Piccadilly station). I wasn't aware any video footage still existed until now.

Sounds like they are all in a race to see who can finish the song first.......

Reni is the reincarnation of Keith Moon

Stone Roses like garage band , today no one would imagine it would be a band as influential and important . Good return ...

Noel Gallagher said he saw the Stone Roses back in 85 "when they were still a goth band." I can see what he meant now haha.
