  • @heartlessvietboy But money had more more value back then, in the days... did it not?

  • Mechanical Engineering is simply the best job in the world :]

  • @heartlessvietboy yet another pointless observation...

  • Ford makes great cars no matter what people say.

  • this IS a ford plant. notice the machinework being done on the flathead ford V8? I'm betting vietard doesn't know a flathead from a buckethead.... or, at least as much as he "knows" about our manufacturing history.

  • @heartlessvietboy interesting.... moronic but interesting. Considering henry ford payed $5 a day for 8 hour days at least 10 YEARS before this film was made, riddle me this genius, How did ANYBODY get these poor saps to give that up for $2 bucks a day (your math)......

  • In the 30s, a quarter an hour was not bad pay at all in any manufacturing job.

  • Typical. Where do you get 25 cents an hour??? Get your facts straight before you make a comment like that.

This is from a time when US manufacturing put men and women to work. There needs to be more of it today.
