I just had to upload this. Found the ad on the Renault UK page. Then, surprisingly, on the Mexico page (though we speak Spanish hehe) and many others. The message is absolutely beautiful... Listen for yourselves.

Song: Keane - "Somewhere Only We Know" (Hopes and Fears, 2004)
The band I love the most and the cars I love the most... I just had to share this.

It's time to change.

English:
Has there ever been a finer creation than the automobile?
Since its invention it has been bringing pleasure to everybody.
Blame its part in every major revolution in society.
Revolution in how we travel.
How we spend our leisure time.
How we shop.
How we lead our lives.
How we lead our family life.

But is it still in tune with society today?

Is this still acceptable that some of us are able to drive while others barely have the means to move around?
Why making the most of our lives today should imply a lower quality of life tomorrow?
Does enjoyment for some have to cost the lives of others?
Do you still have to be one of the lucky few to rip the benefits of progress?

At Renault, we think it's time to change things.

For us, the pleasure of driving doesn't just mean pleasure for the driver; it's a pleasure we share with everyone around us.

For us, global warming is an issue that goes beyond the emissions coming out of the exhaust; it's a question we ask ourselves before, during and after.

For us, "safety" means more than crash test dummies thrown around during tests; it means people, it means lives.

For us, true progress means everyone benefits at the same time.

For us, it's time to drive the automobile forward again...
Towards people...
And for life...

Cómo guiamos a nuestras familias.

  • What's the car at 0:25?

  • @xeco94 It's an '85 (or something) Supercinq

  • for me the car will die once the internal combustion engine dies

  • @toreto5000 Actually, I feel it that way too. It's a little pagan to have an electric or hybrid car. Fortunately, Renault is still releasing V8 concept cars haha.
