This is the story of small family business Loki Fish Co., based out of Seattle Washington and their practice of 'Sustainably harvesting and direct-marketing wild fish with integrity from sea to table'. This segment, which originally aired on The Seattle Channel's City Stream program talks about what it means to fish sustainably, sell locally and in tune with nature and the environment. The piece includes interviews with fishermen and environmental activist Pete Knutson and his son Jonah, including the actual techniques they use and the fight to preserve fishermen's terminal in Seattle as an active fishing port in defense of encroaching condo and retail development. The piece was written and reported by Penny Legate with lots of great content from BJ Bullert.
