Director Walter Gottlieb appears on WETA TV/PBS to discuss his new documentary, "Heart & Soul: The Life and Music of Frank Loesser," (www.loessermovie.org)now airing on PBS stations across the US and available on DVD. Loesser was the composer/lyricist of Broadway's "Guys & Dolls," "How To Succeed in Business Without Really Trying," and "The Most Happy Fella," along with popular songs from "Baby, It's Cold Outside" to "On a Slow Boat To China."
Hey Walt, great job. I'm a big Loesser fan and was hoping someone would do what you did. Any real Loesser fan would love to see the whole 2 hour 45 min. version. Is that available anywhere, or just the 90 min DVD? Thanks...

Thanks! The 2 hour 45 min version was an early rough cut that is not available. But... a lot of deleted or "bonus" material is available on the DVD, including extra interview footage with all of the principals.
