Remember those educational films you watched in high school? This might hold some memories for you. Last Date is a film that warns teenagers against the danger of fast, reckless driving.
Jeanne has two high school sweethearts, Nick and Larry. Nick is a reckless, dangerous driver; Larry takes driving safety seriously. Jeanne goes to a dance with Larry but while there, agrees to go for a short ride with Nick.
Throughout the film radio hipster DJ Dan Bacon's teenacide talk is mentioned and is also heard on the radio. Is anyone listening?
Dick York looks far too old for a high school student in this 1950 film. His role as "Darrin Stephens" on Bewitched was still fourteen years away.
Jeanne - Joan Taylor
Nick - Richard "Dick" York
Larry - Robert V. Stern
Kathy - Sally Hughes
