  • @TuliasBeta hahaha. always thought same thing.

  • nice version!!! you rock it!

  • Check out Crimson Echoes, the fan-made sequel to Chrono Trigger (a real sequel, not the Chrono Cross stuff). It actually is a perfect 'bridge' between the two games and wraps things up to lead into Chrono Cross so that CC actually makes sense! Go grab it via Google.

  • The triple-tech uses Lightning/Fire/Ice so they had to maintain that trinity (rather than giving both the girls a Fire element). While it would be odd, I'd have liked to see Lucca use Ice and have there be an in-game explanation for how she does it. It could be done with good storytelling but meh.

  • Originally, elements were set as follows:

    Chrono - Holy

    Lucca - Ice

    Marle - Fire

Others - Same as the final version

They changed Holy to Lightning for obvious Nintendo-censorship reasons (no religious references, etc).

Lucca was given Fire since it didn't make much sense to have her shooting with an ice-gun. Then Marle was switched over to Ice. The original artwork you see in the video was already made so rather than redo it they just kept it as-is.

  • @TuliasBeta:

Marle is using fire because during CT's development they wanted the characters to use the element that matches closest to their personality. Robo has no 'soul' but his lasers count as 'Shadow' damage, the battle-guru at the End of Time mentions that. The entire Zeal family would use 'Shadow' magic since in the CT world Shadow is the most powerful element.

  • @TuliasBeta I think tha's lucca

  • @talon796 There's a re-recorded version thats longer, check the description

  • ha good cover but too short for my liking :p

  • Frost arc huh?
