Rosy Red feeder fish

These are my home grown Rosy Red Minnows also know as Flathead Minnows. They live in a 55 gallon aquarium. These guys are used to feed my cichlids. I prefer having my own food because of the unknown parasites and diseases that some pet stores' feeder fish have. I feed them to my mated pair of Green Terrors and I also have a baby Arowana only about a foot long right now that eats them also.

dasadler123 Just so you know, rosy reds are known as fatheads in their natural colors, not flat heads

@Godzilla5alien I only have two minnows and we are waiting for the birth.Here's my tip save your money and go to the nearest lake and catch some. Get at least seven put them in A big tank so they have lots of room to interact. You might want to get some pebbles and one of those plastic plants to go in the tank. Then just let nature take it's course. Hoped this helped =)

@dasadler123 i also raise feeder fish but instead I use feeder goldfish for my oscars I buy about 40

@madturtlefan Then ask them to feed them before they put them in a bag. That way you know they are healthy/.
