Qui era molto malato. Ha smesso di dirigere il mese successivo, nel 63 non ha più diretto e nel febbraio del 63 è morto a Basilea.

Wish he had lived longer, he died at 49!! Tragic!! A most magnificant musician, transcendental and inspiring! His rehearsal footages are legendary. Fate can be terribly cruel.
