Myth and legend, love and life beneath an extroadinary mountain on the wild Norwegian arctic sea-board. On a small island a monolithical mountain looms down over the neighbouring village forcing its presence on the locals as it has done for 4000 years. Riding the seaward ridge, by a fluke of nature, sits the clearly discernable figure of a hag-like troll, the source of myths and legends stretching back to the vikings. BEING WITH A MOUNTAIN is a 30 minute documentary exploring the myriad ways this enigmatic mountain is reflected in the lives of the people who live beneath it.
