Toward the end, the voice saying "M!" sounded very much like Sonia Manzano (Maria).

That was neat seeing the letter "M" flying in space on Sesame Street. It sounded like Maria's voice as well. They also have a clip of the letter "V" flying in space as well.

For the video "V in Space", I think the "V" landed on Venus.

The big "M" landing from space on some strange planet was similar to Mercury car commercials from the late 1950s.

It may have been the actress who played Maria on the show, but I can't confirm that.

*nods* I've also seen a similar clip for the letter V (which must have been the first one that animator did, since it appeared more than the other two).
