Trailer "Schwingungen" Concert by Christof Schlaeger

Harald Opel made this video trailer about the "Schwingungen" concert. This spectacular "Industrial Opera" was created by the sound artist Christof Schläger together withhis wife Marjon Smit. It was performed at 1.okt. 2010 in Herne for the European Cultural Capital RUHR 2010 (Germany). More than 100 ship`s horns placed at 3 different locations were the musicians for this square mile wide concert. The "actors" were seven concrete pumps (from Schwing company), two dredgers, one train, one ship and a coal terminal from the power station (Steag). The director Marjon Smit and Seta Guetsoyan created the choreography for the great maschines and the pyrotechnic illumination. You can see more at www.christofschlaeger.de .
