Just me in my field doing some rolls, togakure style shurikenjutsu, and bofurigata. The music is "Reasons to Believe" by John McCutcheon.

  • VERY, very nice work!! and an excellent video. Nice staff!! Japanese white oak, yes? Noguchi Sensei would say your two handed backroll is perfect!!

  • @orovalleydude Thanks! Yes, it's Japanese white oak from Bugei. A great friend of mine bought it for me. Well, if you could see my two-handed backrolls on a minute-to-minute basis, this was one of my better ones. I favor my right side, but I'm working to overcome that habit. Thanks for your comment!

  • A great friend indeed. He must think you are a budoka of some value, that is a solid tool. The staff spinning is smooth, you can improve a lot from that base. Like Hatsumi Sensei said, "keep going!!"
