Daimler Buses North America 2010 Orion 07.501 (3G) Demo Bus (Part 1) - West Van Route 257

Vancouver Translink leased the third generation of Orion 07.501 diesel bus from Daimler Bus North America for the next bus procurement in the future, this bue was stayed in Vancouver almost 2 months for trial at both Coast Mountain Bus Company and West Vancouver Municipal Transit, the first day of trial in Vancouver since 31 March 2011 on West Vancouver Blue Bus route 258 (am) and 251 (pm)~~

After the couple weeks trial in West Vancouver Blue Bus, then transferred to Coast Mountain Bus Company (CMBC) and operated by Burnaby Depot on route 106 (am) and 130 (pm) for the same trial~~

This demo bus equipped Cummins ISL9 (EPA2010) engine and ZF Ecolife ZF 6AP1200B transmission, a/c system provided by Thermo-King~~

Let's go to the joyride of the Third Generation of Orion 07.501 EPA10 demo bus on route 257 toward Horseshoe Bay ferry terminal and continues as 259 to Lions Bay, this clip was taken from Park Royal - Horseshoe Bay for (part 1) and then on 259 toward Lions Bay on (part 2)

I only heard about the 90 Novas. I didn't know they ordered more Orions (well diesels this time).
