  • I sometimes had that problem. The dog beef pill pockets seem stronger smelling and tasting, my cat loves them. The big dog ones are cheaper per oz, and I just break them up. Boo eats them up with the pill every time now.

  • That happens on occasion with my cats. There was a period of time nothing was working. Turned out they didn't like the chicken, they gobble up the beef. I have to make sure the pill is covered.

  • *BIG GRIN* So glad to hear that!

  • Outstanding video. I have a similar cat who had to take a liquid medicine with a syringe. That was not fun, ha!

  • Thank you! It hasn't mattered what pills I give him, they both salivate over the pill pockets. So MUCH easier.

I remember the mess of liquid syringe meds.

  • uh....nice calico but the other one.....meh lol

  • lol, you get to know a sphynx, you fall in love with them. My husband didn't want him. He now sheds tears at the thought of being without him and says he's never been in love with a pet like he is with Boo.

  • @patriotgirl53 No it's a fact.

  • @icedragonSg the sphinx is not my favorite breed either, and you are certainly entitled to your opinion, but don't state it as a fact. And nobody needs to read your immature rudeness.

  • your cat is ugly

  • For one glorious week my cat loved the pill pockets then he refused to eat them.

  • does anyone know where to buy these online in europe PLEASE reply, i have a terrible figth with my cat, he needs meds. 6 times a day.

  • This was awesome advice. My vet sold me that pill popper device that sends my can into lock-down mode the minute he sees it. Now I just make my own "pill pockets" out of wet cat food and throw the pills into his dish. He eats them up every time. This has made his care so much less stressful for both my cat and I. Thanks.

  • You're calico has a green eye and a blue eye. Just like one of my cats! :)

  • My cat is EXTREMELY finicky! I have tried giving him the pill orally (nearly impossible) and pulverizing the pill and mixing with tuna juice for a syringe squirt (also very difficult). I tried these pill pockets and they worked!! Thank you very much!

  • I"ll have to try the dog ones-my cat won't eat them.

  • Such adorable cats!
