Spore: How to create large wings

Those pesky little wings available in the editor are too small. In order to create larger wings you have to "merge" several wings and feathers to a construct that (not very closely) resembles wings.
However, those wings can only be attached onto the torso or arms/legs. So basically you turn a pair of arms into a pair of wings. You can manipulate the shape of the arms and add or remove joints holding ctrl while clicking a joint. (Check the manual).
Unfortunately the arms will often be visible, so do your best to conceil them. I'm sure a lot of you can do this better than me. Have fun!
