Normie Rowe - Que Sera Sera 1965 ,This single took the nation by storm. On one side the pop singer revived and energized Doris Days Que Sera Sera; (YouTube) on the other side he recorded English rocks only pre-Beatles classic, Shakin All Over. Both sides received massive airplay and carried the single to No.1 nationally, accompanied by the constant Normie Rowe riot headlines generated by the singers live performances.

  • @hondared250 How cool! :) That must have been long after he dated my Mum, he grew up in Northcote Vic and was a client of my Grandfathers tailor shop. Thats how they met. I tell her she should have married him and he would be my Dad! LOL

  • He sure is a legend. I went to see him in Kyneton on Saturday night and he was absolutely fantastic. What a great night we had. Such fun. Thanks Norm(ie)!

  • Oh that first bit takes me back. It was only the early 2000s but this was practically by childhood! :)

  • what a legend the man was and still is ,,,,,,,,,,

  • Good one Normie from a kiwi. Great memories.

  • This version sure shoved a bomb up this song compared to the twee Doris Day version!

  • dude i saw him perform this song only recently (so what, he's in his 60s now), coz he's doing some tour with frankie j holden & 2 other people.

awesome performance! he made the whole crowd get up & join in & there was 1 bit where it was just him & the drummer & he just sung "kaaa-haay-haay" over & over with the crowd echoing. gave me goosebumps!

  • This was the biggest selling Aussie record of the 60s. It charted for 28 weeks!!

  • another unforgettable song, thanks for the memories.
