@SuperDeluxe80 You saying that I " believe all the lies" is not really an argument on your part. Care to prove your point rather than insult me?. What is the difference between a peak Floating point on paper and one on the " real world" so I can benefit from your wisdom.

@SuperDeluxe80 In order to understand why 50 PS3s provide much more computing power than a 30K server, you need to understand what Floating point is . Super Computer's speeds are measured in FLOPS ( Floating point operations per second) Project Condor, executed by Mark, at the air force base in Rome , NY is used primarily for live satellite imagery ( 150 Megapixel images ). What they accomplish with the PS3s would only be possible with a multi million dollar Cray .

@LordDonib the PS3 has a great GPU and a decent processor, but it doesn't have much RAM, which is why they use it for processing farms rather than using it instead of a desktop or whatever.
