Your allergic reaction was probably more of an environmental thing then a feline allergy.

My guess is that you probably changed your diet, or live somewhere newer/cleaner then previously, and have improved your methylation

I just learned about allergies in bio 115 today! It's something about an enzyme wasn't turned on so you couldn't handle the allergen and then it turned on randomly, which apparently happens often. I'm probably wrong.
