@sylvia4ever19 Amazon is tricky because there are many independent sellers on there, so you really have no idea if you are buying a fake one or not. Its safer than ebay, but not very safe since there are so many fakes out there. Folica guarantees that their chi's are real so thats your safest bet. They are more expensive on Folica though. target shows up as an authorized retailer on the Farouk Chi website so it should be fine. It will certainly be covered by their 2 year warrant at least.

hi someone please help i've got a chi nano in blue i wanted to know if its real i live in the united kingdom and purchased mine from a sallys hair and beauty store.i dont think they will sell fake ones plus with us having a highher voltage we have 3 pin plugs here.and in the manual it states that it uses 220 to 240 volts which is right for the u.k someone please get back to me
