A collection of the more extravagant and difficult shortcuts found in the Nintendo WIi Game Mario Kart Wii The latest game in the Mario Kart series. I've picked these shortcuts because they are both difficult and helpful if they are done right.
Below is a list of every shortcut found in this video with a few details about each one.
Luigi Circuit
Difficulty 5/10
This shortcut is pretty easy once you get the basics of it. It is found near the end of the course and instead of going along the area with the boost pads you will use a mushroom, star, golden mushroom, or mega mushroom boost to cut through the sandy area with the warp pipes doing your best to avoid the pipes in the process.
DK Summit/Snowboard Cross
Difficulty 4/10
This shortcut is found in the Mario Kart Wii course DK Summit or DK Snowboard Cross. This shortcut is pretty basic and probably the easiest shortcut that I will show you in this video. You must simply cut across the gap. This requires no mushroom at all and is a great way to get ahead in the track or to get revenge on your opponents. HOW SNEAKY!
GCN DK Mountain
Difficulty 5/10
Similar to the DK Summit/Snowboard Cross shortcut, you will also skip a gap in this shortcut. However, it is a bit more difficult as you have to make a very sharp turn to make the gap. It is a grand shortcut to take and is very helpful on all modes. Be it Time Trials or Grand Prix.
GBA Bowsers Castle 3
Difficulty 9/10
This shortcut allows you to skip a great portion of this course. It is a bit complicated however and timing and position is everything. This shortcut can be performed with or without a mushroom but with a mushroom is MUCH easier. Beware though, as there is a pretty good chance you will fall in the lava if you are not experienced with this shortcut. This shortcut takes a lot of getting used to.
Grumble Volcano
Difficulty 9/10
A bit easier than the GBA Bowsers Castle 3 shortcut although still very difficult. First off, this shortcut requires a mushroom boost no matter what and can be quite difficult. When doing this shortcut, try to avoid hitting the mountain and just bounce off the ledge and hop back on the course. This shortcut takes a lot of skill and is VERY difficult. It can, however, only be performed on the first and second laps because the mountain you are using to get across will sink right after the second lap.
I hope these shortcuts have been helpful to you and I hope to see you on Mario Kart Wii!!
Thank you very much for watching this film and I hope to make more videos in the near future.
