it wasnt spouse and spouse, it was husband and wife,...with the husband being higher but he did not want to say that.....so he used the word spouse.spouse...

@SNSDTVgeneration Yes, during the revolution, Mao and the red guards banned Confucianism. And yet it hasn't been brought back officially by the government. CCP is the only government or dynasty that hasnt officially recognize Confucianism in throughout Chinese history.

Is there any equality in confucism? NO!!!! Subjects are slaves of the emperor, Children are slaves of the parents, Wife is the slave of the husband.

Confucianism is not all about 'obedience'. Confucius asked his students to think independently and not to accept without question everything he said. Mencius, the St Paul of Confucianism, clearly stated that people have the right to give a tyrannical ruler the boot. I can show you which chapter from the Analects and the Mencius to read.
