I hope this works. The original was shot from my camera (you can see how close I was to Jimmy) and this song alone was 200 MEG.so the quality isn't as high, but at least you can see it. Of the 20 songs he played, this was one I wanted to send first. For two and a half hours on a random Thursday night in Key West Florida, there was no stock market crash, no bailout packages, no foreclosures, no MSNBC, no Sean Hannity, just a group of people that wanted to suspend reality for just a few moments and pretend that "everythings gonna be alright". I can't describe to you how surreal the felling was in this little bar during this song. It was uplifting and inspirational but also.......fun. Pure joy and fun. You gotta grab every one of those moments whenever you see them.
I hope you enjoy.

  • mac looks happy. I think he likes the smaller venues.

  • thank you for sharing this, i would have died to have been there so close..and to hear him do bob marley..how amazing

  • There are two T's in Buffett, but I'll let it slide this time since you are a Gator.

  • great version, from a parriot head in england, waiting for the day jimmy returns to sing on these rainey shores

  • I stood on that very staged where Jim's standin back in July of 2006. Thats cool to see Jimmy perform right where I stood. I would of flipped out if I was there once I heard em start to play one of Bob's classic tunes. I'm a BIG, (and I mean BIIIIIIIIIIG) Marley fan as well as Parrothead. My cd player never goes without a Buffet, Marley, Kenny Chesney, or Taj Mahal cd. My minds always in that tropical state as the song goes. Thanks for this cool post.

  • Wow!

  • Can't believe how close that was to the stage!
