I have the same cam. try the R5 setting ,its full 1080p/wide angle ,gets rid of the black on each side of the shot, , I fabed a small alum. mount for the front of my helmet and it keeps the brush from hitting the cam, is much better, and you can see the cam in front of your nose, and if you want to talk while your filming you can hear it like talking into a mic.....good thing you know where your going!
