Bob Crane was killed in 1978. You can find a documentary about his death here on youtube. The number one suspect was his best friend.

Bob Crane was great, and it's sad that he had to die young.

~I Love Hogans Heroes! Thank you so much for uploading. If you like these I would recommend Get Smart, F Troop, and Gilligan's Island. Even though they have very different plots they all posses a certain charm that only these old shows have. I love how funny and innocent they are. TV just isn't the same. Thank you again sanfop11.~

Anybody ever notice all the similarotyies between Hogans Heroes and Penguins of Madagascar?

King Julian and Klink, both pretend to run the show self absorbed and pioused. Hogan and the Skipper are both genius operators and leaders. Maurice and Schulz both seem to wish the whole game was over but at least do as they are told by their senior. The Penguins and the Prisoners run the whole show, and both shows are filmed behind bars with repeated escapes.

This was a great time in TV history, when comedy was actually funny. Unlike today when some says penis or vagina over and over in one show like its funny or something. This was entertainment by real actors. The brain dead un-reality shows are a disgrace to actors everywhere and are complete stupidty, Long live Hogans Heros and all the rest of that time

it is he was a good man and played hogan well one of my favorit actors back then (then again i dont watch many old shows)

and its sad that hogan's heroes only go 2 season 6 im sure 4 more seasons would been great!

I love it. The german version is ways better... because of the different german dialects -> Klink: east german, Schultz: Bavarian . It sounds so funny... ^^
