2011 US Amateur National Disc Golf Championship online series pt 1

This is the first in a three-part series on the 2011 USADGC made possible by the PDGA. In this first part, we'll take a look at some action from past years at Am Nats, from the archives of Disc Golf Live video magazine. Highlights include footage of on course action as well as off course antics such as Speed Golf and Lizard Games, all on the famous and uber-tough Toboggan course at Kensington Metropark in Milford, MI. The action heats up later this week and we'll follow this up with stories on early round and final round play when the Champion is crowned on Sunday, June 12th.

I've heard rumors that Speed Golf might be back again this year after a short hiatus. Always fun to watch.

I had heard that there were some Park folks who were concerned about safety, but I've also heard more recently that it was a timing thing and there just wasn't enough time on the late Sunday schedule to fit it in (particularly when attendance at the event spiked a couple years ago), so now I'm not really sure on the clear story. It was great fun to watch, I'll say that. Thanks for viewing.
