Do have a fuel leak on high pressure side line or you could have the line nuts too tight on the head causing an internal leak might be pulling in some air but starts pretty good for that maybe your fuel return is restricted or tank vent plugged this will cause the truck to run rough doesn't sound electronic but never no on the vp one other thing is to make sure your valve lash is right and rockers are torqued right 27lb ft I think
