  • Why have you titled the video "knock out"? He didn't knock him out at all, Frazier was stopped from going out against his own wishes. Looks like sweetfights is another obsessed Ali fan.

  • @twiskins

Joe Frazier was just as much a warrior as Ali.

  • Does anyone tell when the boxing start.? been stuck for 10mins watching the documentary.

  • The commenter says Frazier is hurt,......... Frazier is badly hurt. It's crysta clear he lost this one.

  • MUHAMMAD ALI !!

  • @Amalgamatedmining

If that were the case his name would not be mentioned among the great figures of history, like martin luther king, Malcolm X, JFK, etc. I am not sure why you feel this need to negate or trivialize that, but I am sure it is something deep seeded in your own mind that causes this. What he did for black Americans was comparable to what other great civil rights leaders did, never undermine that. He continued boxing, partly, to use the publicity for good.

  • @Triangulove - Don't put Ali up on a pedestal - that after all is not what the man is all about - you can respect & admire him all you want, he is all about peace, equal rights & respect for everyone. He is now a Sunni Muslim living a quiet peaceful life - that is his legacy.

  • @Triangulove

No, after all Ali was just a great boxer (nothing more nothing less) - thats all. Frazier, Suger Ray were great boxers too and all did loads of charity work (after their boxing careers) - Ali (Clay) became a much more notable figure after his refusal to join the US Army. As much as I repsect Muhammad Ali (AKA Cassuis Clay) he did not invent a cure for cancer or any great feat as such. Yes he is a great man - but after all he was a boxer.

  • @Amalgamatedmining

The problem with your reasoning is that this is muhamad ali, not any other boxer, so there is always going to be cross referencing with his legacy as a historical social figure. There is no escaping that. If you don't like it, I suggest not reading or participating in comments on Muhamad ali videos.

  • @Triangulove

Ok I can look up wikipedia just as good as anyone, quit spouting off trivial facts written by someone else. As for all the bullshit about colour or slave names, give it up - that horseshit has no place in sports (it's people like you that ruin it)-I am a boxing fan I will not get into a discussion on race & religion (if you want to do that join the nation of Islam yourself).I am more than willing to discuss boxing, not argue religion.I'm sure Ali (or Clay) would agree

  • @Amalgamatedmining

I already knew that, and ali acknowledged this in documentaries many times. He said that he chose to keep the name given to him by his black brotherhood because it was a name which better represented his outlook at that time and how it related to the black brotherhood, and that it was a much better representation of his views than the white slave name given to him by his ancestors slave owners. He chose it, and you disrespect his choice! That is a fact.
