Oh gosh! I hope that my comment wasn't taken as discrimination. That was SOO not my intent. I was just stating my preference. When I see belly dancing, for me, it is more beautiful when the women actually have chubby bellies that jiggle as they move. To me, it just seems so much more sensual. :)

@ayla106 Actually bellydance is made to be danced by ALL sizes, big and small. Big and super skinny. We don't discriminate on size.

In Bahrain there's channel dedicated to old and new belly dancing movies and shows.A lot of the dancers were 50 pounds heavier then this girl but they wore their belts higher on the sides especially in the old movies.The new shows had thin girls like the other girl in this video and the ones that traveled around the world were really skinny. Traditionally they were big women because in the old days that was a sign of being well feed and fertile.They did not want to pay to see a "beggar" dance.
