Great video Chris, interesting little loco that.

looks like a good, smoth runner. Spirit fired?

It is a very smooth runner - it has a twin cylinder oscillating motor under the water tank - geared down to the final drive. The outside cylinders are dummy. The boiler is gas fired with a round ceramic burner - it is as quiet as spirit fired though!

is that scratch built? It reminds me of the Winans Crab 0-4-0T

Hi - Yes it was scratch built by Peter Angus in 1998 using a Tony Sant boiler. Since then he has built two more - though the boiler and detailing are different.
