Comet McNaught - LIGHTENED

On January 10, 2007 I went to see a cosmic show, Comet McNaught. This is a reprocessed version of my first McNaught video. I have lightened the clips to see the comet better. I've also included some still shots taken by members of The Des Moines Astronomical Society. If you didn't get to see the wandering visitor, visit the southern hemisphere...they're in for quite a display next month!

I really enjoyed this video... I found it comforting somehow that regardless of what thinking people say and do to complicate everything, earth and space will just keep on going....

yeah...I feel this way also. When I need to center myself, and gain perspective, a nice naked-eye comet always does the trick. The evening was mild, with a moderate wind, and the energy was good. Watching a nice sunset at the same time was a bonus :-)
