Victor Surge posted the original two pictures of "The Slender Man" on the Something Awful Fourms in June of 2009 for a contest. Since then, it has taken up many different forms straying from the pictures, because the internet will do that to things. Only a week and a half later, Troy Wagner (Plays "Jay" in Marble Hornets. If you thought MH was real...sorry.) Posted "Introduction" and "Entry #1." If you're REALLY lazy I can write another comment with pleasure...this is all I can fit, though. :(

What I get here is that the number of flashes of the "slash-blocks" gives some letters in Morse code, and I searched for a Morse code sheet, and what I get it "lok". Closely? I don't know, "lo(o)k closely"? I've also searched for other opinions and some say that it also may be saying "listen closely", and this noise in the video, backwards and speeded up, is a little song (searched for it). WOW! That's why I love Marble Hornets, it's scary, real life-like and makes you really think! :)
