Kathy Griffin's Emmy award acceptance speech was censored by overzealous holier-than-thou prudes.

I do not like censorship /end understatement. This is my tribute to Kathy Griffin. I knew very little of her before this incident, but now she is on my "A" list.

My first upload of this video glitched and the video was dropped; but some people seemed to like the audio only, so 'ill leave the glitch up. In order to post this, however,I had to change the file a bit--youtube doesn't allow duplicate uploadeds--that is the reason for the title intro part.

God, Kathy is so right about the whole Jesus thing.

No wonder we have so much poverty and death in the world...poor Jesus is always so busy with helping people make free throws, winning awards, and scoring touchdowns...and of course blessing America every day.

Jesus deserves a vacation.

It thought it was funny. It follows the expectation breaking pattern of humor. People always say dribble like "thanks to Jesus for this award". So she goes up and says 'Suck it Jesus, this award is my God now." completely shattering the normal social expectation.

Odds are pretty good that if you don't find it at least a little amusing, then you are offended, even if not consciously. People lack humor on topics related to their perceived identity.

These people in an uproar about Kathy and her "Suck it Jesus" comment don't get it. I dont' think Kathy has a personal vendetta against Jesus Christ...just the flaky, hypocrtical, losers that believe in him but follow nothing that he says. I live in the Bible belt and the local Evangelist Church has a party for teen every friday. They read scripture and drink Coca Cola. Just think of the good they could do if they went out into the community to help. But they don't want to because that's hard.
