I last saw John Mason OBE in the Music Hall Aberdeen March 2010 and he looked
ill he never introduced the band and he only conducted a couple of tunes Blair
conducted the rest but he left a legacy and he never lost his Orcadian accent a
pure gentleman.

God Bless John, we'll miss him in The Port in carnival week
omg! I play with the orchestra and this was the last time John ever conducted the orchestra live! god it brings tears to my eyes watching this! :'(
