@VesqVj I know this an old comment, but the plugins he's using were built from the hardware, to exactly replicate it in a much more reliable and usable way.

@lpkyer it's is amazing how much push and pull you can get from analog gear :) peaking LED's on analog gear is almost a requirement :D

Whats up with the camera man? You need to slow down. Im using a 32" monitor and i got really dizzy... You are moving way to fast... CLA is great at mixing. Love the mix not the song... GREAT>>>> POST MORE

@labanx I can tell you that equiptment isnt tired at all. I still use my Urei compressors from the 70s and not one plug in even comes close to sounding as good. Just have a good tech guy and all the equiptment will work for 30+ more years.

Even if plugins were close enough to sound like real hardware (imo they never are), some people find it more comfortable and home to turn knobs. For example I end up with better results by mixing drums' eq with a real mixer than software eq. And hey, if you have money and skill, you can do just like this guy. Using plugins is affordable and that's something everyone can do in their little home studios. I don't think this guy could find as good plugins as that hardware is.
